Laguna Seca Pre-Reunion

My brother was living in San Francisco during the summer of 2018. I had recently returned from my mission in France and was pretty tired of working odd-jobs for my hometown parks department to try and save money for college. He invited me to come stay with him for a few days, with the highlight of the trip being the Laguna Seca Pre-Reunion.

The Pre-Reunion is an event that precedes the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion, which is the "real" event. In the pre-reunion, cars take time to practice, tune-up, and get to know the track before racing. They open it to the public and the crowds are much smaller, but with the same cars and all of the thrill. This is a short highlight of my favorite pictures that I took. I took these on a film camera that I borrowed from my brother. It felt like I was transported back to the 1960s.
